Second Annual STEAM Career Day at Muirlands!

On February 2nd, local professionals in the arts and sciences volunteered to speak with students during Muirlands Foundation's 2nd Annual STEAM Career Day. From film producers to architects, bio-chemists, marine biologists, neurologists, designers, musicians and more, 32 presenters visited 6th, 7th and 8th classrooms to talk about their educational and career paths. Each classroom heard from three speakers. This event introduces students to a wide variety of careers to inspire thinking about their own interests and aspirations.
