The Muirlands 6 th grade Girl Scout troop #3095 recently installed a “living wall” in the outdoor patio of the teachers lounge. A few months before, they had met up to create square planter boxes that they filled with succulents to raise awareness about the drought that is going on in San Diego. Using succulents and other drought-tolerant plants is an eco-friendly option because these plans are still able to thrive even when there isn’t too much water, and they are fun and pretty to look at. We made this living wall to show our appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff!
