Seven Muirlands Middle School students proved they are among the very best musicians in the District. Competing against many hundreds of music students from across the San Diego Unified School District, they each won a coveted seat in the 7 th-8 th Grade Honor Band/Honor Orchestra, which held its performance at Point Loma Nazarene’s Brown Chapel. Held annually by the School District, the concert’s intention is to provide students an opportunity to play challenging material alongside the most accomplished of their peers. Way to represent La Jolla, kids!
